04

All-inclusive value

Objections, Answered

What your boss might ask.

Isn't this a vacation?

No. It's an executive assembly with an intentional agenda of timely professional and personal development topics and dedicated networking. It opens with a day of executive alignment at Rosen Shingle Creek, and the program continues aboard. Port days give attendees time to recharge.

Why hold it at sea?

Focus. Days at sea mean no commute, no conflicting meetings and no drifting back to the office, so attendees spend their time learning and connecting with peers.

What does it cost?

The retreat is all-inclusive, at a cost on par with, or less than, other cybersecurity events. Request an invitation and our VIP team will send current pricing you can share.

How much time away is it?

Four business days, or three if we observe Veterans Day. The program runs Thursday, November 11 (Veterans Day) through Wednesday, November 17, 2027, including the weekend, and returns to Port Canaveral at 7:00 AM on Wednesday.

Does it count toward my certifications?

Yes. The program offers at least 12 self-reported CPE credits for ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA and other certifications, and every attendee receives a Certificate of Attendance. Our CPE guide explains how, with a free log template.

What will the company get out of it?

Current knowledge on critical topics, benchmarks and relationships with peers, and a debrief you'll share with your team when you return.

Subject: Request to attend The Cyber Executive Retreat (Nov 11–17, 2027)

Hi [Manager],

I'd like to request approval to attend The Cyber Executive Retreat, an intimate executive assembly for cybersecurity and technology leaders presented by CyberDefenseCon and CruiseCon, November 11–17, 2027.

The retreat was created to give cybersecurity professionals the education and experiences typically reserved for Fortune 200 security executives. Its agenda covers timely subjects in both professional and personal development, in an environment designed for learning and networking.

Why I believe it's worth it for [Company]:

  • Education: world-class information on critical cybersecurity topics that I can apply to our program.
  • Connections: a week alongside peers and security leaders, relationships that help us benchmark and solve problems faster.
  • Certifications: the program offers at least 12 self-reported CPE credits, with a Certificate of Attendance, to keep my certifications current.
  • Cost: one all-inclusive cost that is on par with, or less than, other cybersecurity events.
  • Time: it opens with a day of executive alignment at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando on Thursday, Nov 11, and continues aboard Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas from Port Canaveral, returning Wednesday morning, Nov 17. Because it spans a weekend and opens on Veterans Day, I'd be out of the office only four business days, or three if we observe the holiday.

When I return, I'll share a debrief of key takeaways and recommendations with the team.

Details are at https://cyberexecevents.com. I'm happy to discuss.

Thank you,
